She will give birth to a son and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord has said through the prophet: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son and they will call him Immanuel--which means, "God with us." During this Christmas season here in Mexico, we have been preparing ourselves for the second coming of Jesus which we celebrate now as Christians. Reflecting on Jesus birth and salvation and preparing ourselves for him to come again. Reflecting on what it means and how our lives would look if we really live and believe that "God with us" is exactly what it says. God is with us -- His power, His comfort, His forgiveness, His love, His faithfulness, His presence....
One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
